Hello!

My name is Greta Chaney and I am the new Catering Manager for the Rock Island Arsenal Club.  I am also the Wedding Consultant associated with the Association of Bridal Consultants at our Club.  First of all, I should probably tell you a little about myself. I am new to the area; I moved here in August 2002.  I am from a military family, and have traveled extensively for most of my life.  I have years experience in the military and civilian entertaining sectors in different countries and look forward to planning events with you here in the Midwest.

I am very proud to be associated with the historic Rock Island Arsenal Club.  The Rock Island Arsenal Club is a registered National Historic Landmark located on Rock Island Arsenal.  We are known for the quality of our food, beverages and customer service and are very reasonably priced.  We are one of the best-kept secrets of the area-but word is leaking out fast!  We also are an entertainment one-stop-shop for brides.  A couple may have their wedding showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at our establishment.  If the bride decides that she would like to leave the stress and strain to me, she can hire me as her wedding consultant and side-step much of the stress-inducing elements of her wedding.  I can also be contracted to help with only certain aspects of the wedding, if needed.  I stay very current on wedding trends and both military and civilian etiquette.  Ring us upon the telephone at 309-782-6319 and let us explain all that our Arsenal Club can do for your special time.

We also do just about every other event here at our Club.  We have the facilities to do business luncheons and meetings, including the technological support that you will need.  From business meetings to welcome teas, from small luncheons to grand military dinners and dances, our Arsenal Club excels in every event.

I am also proud to be associated with the nationally recognized Association of Bridal Consultants.  This association has an excellent reputation for a high code of ethics and professionalism.  One must complete the required courses to be recognized by this association.  I have learned much from them and will continue to do so with their continued education opportunities.
